Sure, I'm a local. I've been to South Lake Tahoe hundreds of times. But it was all driving, and we've got a bachelor party/ride coming up. So I'm looking for advice on awesome roads to ride either on the way, or loops around South Lake. I'm not sure Highway 88 is the ideal ride, but it's always been fun in a truck:

Any thoughts on an alternate route up there? Local roads that can't be missed? Keep in mind that many of us will be on superbikes, not dual-sports Grin

Thanks!

A little late but in case anybody wants an alternate to 88 which is a good way to go. There is a chunk of slab between Davis and Auburn but not too bad considering the rest.
