Since Statler mentioned our NYC "Introduction 416A"  which if passed, would have defined a straight pipe as any motorcycle exhaust without EPA marking, and allowed ticketing of parked pipes and confiscation of the parked bikes, a short update.  The bill is going through a rewrite.  This is because of an organized effort including visits to Council Member's offices.  The fight ain't over, but we made progress.  You folks in Oregon can do the same thing.  Complaining wont do it, but educating your legislators can.  Get the aftermarket involved too.
