i had a nice day of riding today. it was perfect because the roads were clear and i couldn't care much about football because my beloved chargers didn't make it to the bowl. everything was fine until i started home.

my left blinker, horn, and high beam trigger stopped working. however. if the left blinker is engaged and i honk my horn, then my right blinker goes. .... kinda weird.

does anyone have any idea of what the crap is going on? im thinking a bulb went out witch is forcing a relay to get wacky. or did a cluster of wires from my left hand controls get pinched or burned?

other than this, my 696 rules!

sorry no answer on the electrics, but I always take the super bowl as an opportunity to ride (Unless SD is playing)

There's another thread on here that I started about M696 teething problems. I haven't had the exact problem you've had, but I did have a fuse blow last wk that took out my headlights (along with the coil issue, blinker switch breaking, etc.). However, significant problems with the 696 appear to be the exception to the rule.

Now then, about the Super Bowl...  ;D

Call the dealer, have them pick-up the bike, and let them worry about it.
