I fell in love again today.
I haven't been able to ride much lately, but I finally got out this morning on my Baby and headed up ACH w/ Duck-Stew.  We got out there early enough to get past most of the goofballs (F the Lambos..) and had plenty of clear road in front of us all the way up to Newcomb's.

This was my first time on ACH on two wheels.  What a trip. The weather was perfect, the sound from my M750 was intoxicating, and falling into the rhythm of the road, left, right left... right , left, right... was just easy, natural, almost surreal.  This is why I love riding.  We weren't knee down or anything crazy... Third gear most of the way, occasionally up to fourth, flirting with 75-80... but mostly just enjoying ourselves.  No  Police 's in sight.

Only three bikes passed us on the way up, (guys on gixxer/cbrr/yamasakis) and only traffic from the other direction on the way back down.  Took "Nine Mile" on the way back, pace a little more brisk. Did I mention the sound of the bike was just like heaven? Stu was on his Green and gold 9 hundo, and that machine sounded even better!
Well, as I'm typing, I can tell my semi-coherent rambling isn't doing justice to how great the ride was.  bang head
I love my Monster, I love to ride, and I wish today didn't have to end...

Ride Safe everyone, and may you have amazing adventures!   [moto]

I met him recently at an IBN wednesday and found out we only live about 10 minutes apart. He definately has a way with two-wheeled machinery!   bow down  bacon

It was a great day today! Amazing weather. I went thru Malibu canyons. There was a bit of traffic but i seemed to miss it all. Like the 1098 was a hover craft floating round the bends.

I did see alot of  Police but all of them were busy writing tickets.  Cool

Hey i know Stu..maybe I need to ride out to Ventura?

I'm telling you this is the best weather I have ever seen here. I could see the snow capped mountains from Hollywood today. Driving around Santa Monica and BH midday was a breeze. I went to eat lunch at Swingers and after lunch went back to the 1098 and several other Duc's had lined up. Is this a great city or what?  bow down  bacon
