what does this warning light mean?

on my 95 M900 on the bottom left side there is an indicator light that looks like two headlights pointing left and right...it glows green. I looked in the owner manual and it says its the outer lighting symbol...what does this mean? It stays on all the time.

It means your headlight and tail light are on. Although I have never checked this personally, I have been told if either one burns out the indicator goes out also. I'm more apt to believe that it really is of no use in the US market, and that the indicator only goes off if you turn the headlight off at the handlebar switch (which we don't get)

I guess you could pull a bulb out and see what happens.
