So I have upgraded the front end of my s2r 800 to a SBK front end.  998 fork, 748 calipers, 320mm rotors, and Radial MC.  My question is...what is everyone's opinion on brake pads?   I am on the CA cycleworks site now and am going between the Ferodo Platinum and the Ferodo ST pads.
Thoughts?

Depends on how you ride, the pads are cheap and they are both good. Try one if you don't think they are what you expected the try the others.

I do 99% of my riding on the street.  The roads around here are comprised mostly of fast sweepers with some tight technical stuff mixed in.  I try to ride in a very "flowing" manner.

Your type of riding is similar to mine - Platniums are better for you. They're softer too so your rotor life will be longer and they have balanced qualities.

Whatever pad you buy be sure to bed them in properly.

I like Dunlop Pads...ftr.

^^^ What he said.

Also give your rotors a nice deglazing with a scotchbrite pad and some brake cleaner. They might not need it, but I always do it anyway.
