The DP ecu runs pig-rich for racing and actually has a few of these "spots". Some are not readily apparent on a dyno sheet. One of the reasons I installed a PCIII and had it dyno-tuned. It's totally linear now....not to mention the extra HP &Torque.

I know we have had this discussion on the forum in the past but I think it may have been the old board. What part number did you get on the PCIII. I have got to bite the bullet and do this. Also have to find a shop here in San DIego area that can do it.

Did they setup the PCIII by putting an A/F probe in the exhaust or by multiple runs on the dyno?

Probably not important, but Ducati claims 13% - not 13hp.

The increase should be 17hp then, if they deliver as promised.

Lovely mod anyhow waytogo

how would that 13% at the crank be affected by drivetrain loss and what would be the net RWHP?

laughingdp Yes we have. Part number used was 717-411 from an M1000sie. I had the advanced mapping done (which is per cyl) and he did use lambda probes in the exhaust. We hashed bartered (don't ask) out in advance what A/F I wanted to run and the numbers were crunched by dynojet (this is only available to certified dynojet facilities) after each run and sent back to him to upload and retest. It was good for 8hp & 10ft lb torque on top of the DP ecu when all said and done...
