Different brake levers and master cylinders for sure.  Not sure about the rest.  FWIW, the M1100 has the same levers and reservoirs as my S4RS.

apparently the special exhuast valve on the 1100 is in the way of the CW tail.

DP sells a fender eliminator kit that works with the 1100 or so I've read

Yes, the 696 frame sliders will fit the 1100 frame since they're the same. I had RhinoMoto barends which accomodated my CRG LS mirrors, however the diameter of the 1100 bars are slightly smaller. I believe amcloud just took off the tube which the expansion bolt presses against and it fit. I haven't gotten around to try it since I'm out of commission due to ACL reconstructive surgery.

I don't believe the levers are the same, but I wasn't planning on changing them so I really don't know. One big diff between the 696 and 1100 is the clutch release. I changed out my 696 to CRG adjustable levers since it was such a far stretch to get into the friction zone. With the 1100, it grabs almost immediately so I didn't feel the need to replace my levers. I ordered termis instead.  waytogo

Oh, if you get the full termis, you can use the CW tail. And yes, I ordered the full termis!
