High temperature powder-coating

A search for this came up empty.

Caswell sells powders that can withstand temps of 1000°F.

Their site shows pictures of both auto and moto headers coated with the stuff!

Does anyone have first-hand experience with this?

No, but I'd love to see the tech data....

What is "flow out temperaure?"

Most powders turn liquid at about 350 F and flow out....or just flow.

If this stuff is rated at 1000 F I would assume the flow temp has to be higher.

I was looking at Caswell's site the other day just for kicks and a lot of their powder seems to be top shelf.  The thing I like about their site is that they have customers take pics of the junk they put a coat on so you can see the actual product results and not a shitty little color swatch. 

I'd be curious to see what the flow temp is as well.  This may be an asinine observation but maybe it's some sort of chemical change in the powder (not just solid dust melting) that enables a lower flow temp with a much higher final temp resistance, similar to ceramic coatings which cure in the 250 deg range.

Or it could be a UV cure powder that requires less heat to finish it.
