Installing full Arrow system help

I just got a full Arrow system for my 08 S2R1K, but while installing it, I ran into a couple of snags.

1.  The small mounting bracket on the front header pipe doesn't line up with the corresponding point on the frame where the original udder was mounted.  It's about one-half inch too short from lining up correctly even though the pipe slides perfectly into the header.   I have tried various things to no avail.   [bang]  Am i doing something wrong that I'm not thinking of?

2.  What do i do with the sensor plug that originally screwed into the udder--can i just disconnect it and discard?

Thanx for the help.

Have you installed the springs yet?  Don't put them on until everything has been test fitted. I had a slight problem with mine - different bike but arrows.  It seems like I had to remove one of the rubber isolated mounting bits by where the udder was to get it to align.  Iis there a o2 sensor bung on your arrow system?

I have not installed the springs.  The back collector pipe doesn't line up with the frame either. . .I wonder if you have to compress the rear shock to get it to line up, but that doesn't seem right.   Must be some trick to get it to line up or I'm doing something wrong. . . .

As for the sensor, the rear collector has a bung for it, but when I test fitted it was too short to reach it.

I called the vendor who in turn called Arrow and they said the full system will fit all S2R1K 05-08 Monsters.

Just a bit frustrated at this point  [bang]

When I had my o2 in, I had to reroute the o2 wire to the other side of the bike and then down.  I don't know what to say about the alignment - just make sure everything is loose.  Without seeing it - it is like shooting in the dark.   Is there a slip joint under the engine you could slide back to extend it some?  Arrow makes some pretty high quality stuff but it might be possible they made a mistake.   Some pics would help.

OK--I feel pretty dumb now as I  figured out what the problem was with the alignment--I forgot about the little two-hole mounting brackets that came off the udder where one end screws into the frame and the other to the mounting bracket on the exhaust--amazing how easily it goes together when you have all the pieces  :o

As for the O2 sensor, I also got a FatDuc 02 manipulator so once I installed it, there was enough length to hook it back up without having to reroute to the other side of the bike.

Anyway, the Arrows sound amazing just like I had hoped--I was grinning from ear to ear.   And just for the hell of it, I started the bike with just the straight pipes before I attached the cans--talk about LOUD--it sounded like a drag bike.  Now if only the weather was nice enough to take it for a spin [bang]

I think you will love the Arrow with the FatDuc.

When I installed mine, I would ride it for a few days before backing off (leaning out) the FatDuc, Keep doing that until you notice improvements stop. Even at the lowest setting, it is richening it up. It is also nice if you can confirm everything with a gas testor, but it's not a must have. The real test is how well it idles thru parking lots at sub 3k (mind does well at even 2.5k) and whether the 4k dead zone is gone. And you should not have any pops on deceleration. The arrows sound even cooler during heavy engine braking.

Congrats again.

i put arrows on my S4R (2005, stock ECU) about three months ago...and at first (cold weather) noticed really no popping.  now, though, when i decelerate hard, it's popping a LOT.  i'm not big on going the power commander route (i've done it once before...my local dealer *hates* them)...what other options would i have though?
