Saturday I stopped at the gas station on the corner of Grover and Koenig and while I was pullin up the cashier came outside, saw my bike and walked back in.  As I was paying for my DP I was finally asked the question you always hear about...  "So what is wrong with your bike?"  "What?"I replied.  "It is making a jangling noise and that cant be good" I was told.  With a big smile I explained to him "Thats a Ducati and we pay extra for that noise".  To which he replied "Ducati? is that better than a Honda?"  Closing out the conversation I answered back, "That depends but it is a whole lot cooler.

Some get it some don't,

 laughingdp

The best one I've ever had was a guy yelling at me to get my bike into my mechanic because my cam chain was loose.  I started laughing because I thought my friends had put him up to it.  They hadn't, he was serious.  It then prompted a discussion about how I didn't HAVE a cam chain... and if THAT noise was a loose cam chain I had much bigger problems.

Now, when asked, I just tell them it's my cam chain.   cheeky

You haven't heard a noisy clutch till you've heard mine. It makes babies cry.
