So I didn't realize it'd be so nice today in WI (40 and sunny, with windchill at about 31).  Took the cage to work then rode 15 minutes back him at lunch to bring out Bella.  All my other friends that ride tell me I'm crazy for doing this and that riding season is just around the corner.  Screw them I want to ride now!
May your head gasket develop premature failure, your carb get gummed up, and your side stand fall short.

If it's comfortable enough for you to ride, then ride my friend RIDE!

Those temps are a little below my lower limit though. 45-50 degrees and I'll ride.

They're just jealous because they don't get to enjoy the thrill of riding!  ;D (unless they too ride, and you ruin my logic...)

They ride, but prolly jealous that their bikes aren't "out of storage" (read: unplug the battery tender and check fluids).

I rode a couple weeks ago when it was 40, and the weekend before that when it was 35. I don't mind taking the GasGas out, but taking the S4R out makes me feel bad. Steel frame + salt water drenched roads..... and ya can't really warsh it after. Still tho, once out of town it was refreshing on the dry country roads

Dude you just love to ride, nothing wrong with that.  When I used to live in Madison, I rode 10 months out of the year.  I moved two years ago, so I don't think you could have pulled that off with the last couple of winters you guys have had.  I also never understood the bike being in storage..????? huh-- my bike was always ready to ride-in Wisconsin you have to seize the day-when it's decent and you can-ride.  Nothing wrong with that and wanting to ride all of the time, its just hard to ride as much as you want in Wisconsin!!!

Next best thing, move to Denver where I ride year round now [moto] [moto] [moto].

I ride all year round here in Vancouver WA and Portland OR. Ummm, unless I have hurt myself lately . . . like right now. . . then I take a little break to heal up. Umm, lets not talk about that . . . it's kinda painful.

As long as it is above freezing (and we have a babysitter), my wife is dragging me out on the bikes. It's nothing to leave the house with temps around 34-36 degrees. We really prefer it to be over 40....well, actually between 65 and 75, but it can't always be perfect....like this past weekend.  ;D
