OK so we need some close up piccys and details...

Oww, my arm! laughingdp

what are the calipers and have you also done the masters?

I believe the calipers are off a 999 (before they went radial) ... 4 pad, 4 piston ... ooh and they're silver  Cheesy

No I haven't done the masters which was part of my cunning plan to tone down the calipers. I believe I got the compromise I was looking for to counter my ham-fisted approach to braking.

yes a bit late but had a fantastic day out, meet my new mate from WA and we all wish him a safe ride home. Had some good food, and best of all
NO RAIN.

Then today went out again to Wiseman's Ferry with the NDDOC. we meet up with a red 696, had no cards but Betty told he were he can find us.

TWO great rides in 2 days BRILLANT.

Not sure what the deal was with the headshake you were talking about Groper. Betty we checked tire pressures at Lithgow and they were fine.

A bike shouldn't shake like a shitting dog at 120 when you hit a small bump. 180 i can understand. Even guys with the Ohlins 'S' model are reporting the same thing. I looked around online and it seems to be related to the rear height of the bike.  I'll get a shop to raise it slightly and hopefully that will get it sorted. If not, i'll chuck a tantrum, give it to my wife and buy something else. Woo hoo, bike shopping again  Grin
