Hey there SOCALMOBSTERs,  I'm originally from San Dimas, and lived in Long Beach for almost 5 years going to school.  I discovered Ducati's up here in northern california and can't leave my new baby up in the bay.  So, I'm renting a truck and bringing her down to ride in the nice sunny socal weather.  be in socal from 21 to 26th.  Any rides or any good routes you peoples take would be seriously appreciated.  Kthnxbye waytogo

Where exactly are you going to be? Are you going back home to San Dimas?

Yeah, San Dimas is home base, where the parents live, but I'll be all over the place, mostly in OC and possibly L.A..  Just reserved the truck through enterprise, stocked to ride down south!!!

To the north there is Hwy 33 & Lockwood Valley Rd between Ojai and Frazier Park.  To the south, Palomar Mountain.  Ortega Hwy is a bore, unless you like riding back and forth over the same 3 miles of pavement, behind a bunch of cruisers on their way to/from Hells Kitchen.

2000 996XU (extra ugly) for track days - BST carbon wheels, Ohlins shock, reworked fork, FBF exhaust, and a bunch of megacycle rocker arms. The rest of it is junk - Hey, I'm just happy that it runs...

There's a rich tangled network of roads right behind your old stomping grounds in San Dimas: Mt. Baldy, San Gabriel, Angeles Crest.  Some of those, in addition to Palomar, are on my agenda for the first day of my return trip.

I'm actually riding to San Diego and back this month and some of our dates in SoCal appear to overlap.  I'll be on a tight point-to-point schedule to see as many friends as I can, but PM me if you think you'll want to intersect.

I still haven't done ACH but if either of you guys are running Glendora Mountain Road or Baldy hit me up. I can ride any day except Wednesday the 25th since it's my dad's birthday. I'll likely be at my parents place at the base of Mt. Baldy.
