Main page needs a better Google message

When I type "Ducati Monster Forum" into Google, I get the following:

It's time to change the message at the top so that it is clear that this is the place to go if you're trying to find a replacement for the other lesser boards.  I'm not sure what the exact message should be, but surely we can come up with something a bit more clear than what's on there now.

After all, now that we're over 1000 members, it's not exactly private or in development anymore.

The good news is that we've moved up to eighth on the list.

The DMF is going to have to be linked to by other forums and sites that can be seen by google's crawlers.  That will boost the relevance and push the DMF to the top.  The DML has been around forever and has been linked to by many places so it's going to take a while to catch up.

It already is being (though the more backlinks we can get the better, so keep posting our url up on you other forum and blog posts guys!)

These links show that the popular forums still get the old "busy blog" effect and get their data into the index quickly...

I just searched "Ducati Monster Forum" on Google and we came up third on the list!

The Google results is getting better, but still shows login information first:

Couldn't the login information be, like, the fourth line of text rather than the first?

still a bunch of other crap came up first, but we are on page 1, with a better headline being tagged to it. 

now back to work on getting to #1
