Hi All,

I switched out the stock levers on my S2R1000 for Pazzo Levers.  The brake side was fine, but I had to remove the plunger and actuating rod from stock lever to install the clutch.  I tried to set the rod to the same length as stock, but I'm not sure how accurate I was.  The clutch appears to engage/disengage fine, but I want to be sure I won't face problems down the road.  How can I test/adjust the rod until it is set properly? Thanks!

Howie

You want  1-1.5 mm free play.

This might be a silly question, but how do I measure how much free play I have?

I think I figured it out.  I should measure to the point where I start to feel resistance, correct?  1 mm doesn't sound like much freeplay.

Oops! Correct, thanks.

Thanks!  I also read that I can find the proper setting by turning the screw in until there is no more squirt in the reservoir, then backing it out 3/4 -1 turn.  Is my understanding correct?

That would get you close.

Just make certain there is some 'squirt' in the reservoir when you're done.
