yeh, i follow destructions pretty good. it doesnt happen every time, just now and then. prolly something on my end.....

Yep, what happened is you're trying to link a picture from a site that doesn't want its bandwidth stolen and they've put measures in place (through htaccess) that if you try and post their pic on another URL, it sends you nothing.  Basically, if the origination of the request doesn't come from within their domain, they send a 0kb file instead of what you're looking for and that ugly white square is what you get.

does photobucket do that? that is where i am linking all of my pictures from..... ???

No, photobucket shouldn't do that.  Can you post the link to one of the images you are having trouble with?  Don't put it in the [ img ] tags, just post the link on its own.

yah know......i dont think it is the image. it has only happened a few times, and i was able to link the image at a later date. i figured it was either my server, or the DMF server being really busy at the time.

but, WTFDIK?
