Needing to remove CF slip covers on Termi exhaust to have painted. Remove the rivets and re-rivet when completed? Or is there another step?

Don't freak, I know, painting CF. This project will be beautiful when completed.

The carbon fiber is actually the body of the muffler. You may want to re-pack them while they are apart. Carbon fiber is pretty heat resistant if the packing is worn. Paint won't like it.

You have the idea...drill the rivets and pull them apart.

Have fun.
