Hi,

I heard that one of the differences between the 2 frames is that the post 2002 frame has got a bigger steering head

- can you confirm this?
- I have a complete 2004 999S Ohlins front end that I would want to install when I finally purchase a Monster. Would this be easier on the post 2002 frame?
- what else is different on the 2 frames?

Thanks in advance you guys

Everything ,pre 2002 is a 851 frame ,2002 is a ST2 frame,so the old one is better  Evil(they never won a SBK race with a ST2)

The engine mounts are larger on the 02+ frames as well. It went front a 10mm bolt to a 12mm bolt. The rear suspension is totally different as well. The hoop was removed.
