I woke up first thing I do is go check on my bike.  I'm concern a Bike theft ring might take it in the middle of the night.... Anyways, it was a sunny day, took off the cover, to check on my Black Beauty, let it breath a bit.. I decided to take my mountain bike for a ride.. come back in 3 hours, and a pieces of Bird dooty was on the side of my tank.  I immediately cleaned it off, but Dang there is a blemish left where the dooty is... and it won't come off!
Have anybody experience this Shit? pun moment.....
and how do we get it off?
I know worst shit could happen... :'(

thanks

Rub a little polishing compound or Zymol HD Cleanse on a supper soft cotton cloth. Works for me. Then put a couple coats of Zymol wax on it to protect it in the future. Multiple wax coatings will go a long way in protecting the finish. Check out this video about car detailing. :o   [thumbsup]

Easy. Buy a new bike! [laugh]

I got dripping pine tree sap from my neighbor's tree on my red 999 sitting in my driveway. Major pain in the ass to effectively remove. Just glad the paint didn't get screwed up in the process. Sorry to hear about the bird poop spots. I can see that happening. It can be very acidic. Hope the Zymol stuff works for you. I've never used it. Post up the results for the future. [thumbsup]

I'm putting Ventureshield on my bike to guard against such mishaps.

Try a clay bar on it. It works for my cars.

+2...this stuff works.  I wound up detailing (multiple steps and two washes) the paint on my car (black) over three separate occasions totaling about 27 hours.  It needed it.  By the third time I had the 25' effect...car could be dirty, but from 25' it still looked shiny.

To clarify > I do not know if this works on a matte finish...I've only worked on paint/clearcoats (3 cars, 2 cycles).
