Rear Sets?

I've got a Monster S4.  The seating position is good, I think the pegs are at the right height and location, except that the muffler bracket, peg mount seems kind of wide.   I've seen some incredibly expensive rear sets, I was wondering if they come with a whole new bracket/pipe mount, or just a plate that bolts onto the original?   I like where the stock setup sits, but I'd like to have the pegs in closer to the bike.  It might require moving the rear master cylinder, but that isn't a big problem.  Are there any alternatives, such as a different year setup, to buying rear sets or making my own brackets, that anyone has come up with?  I think with the pegs moved in an inch or maybe a bit more on each side, comfort and control would be improved.

Thanks, Robert

I think supertjeduc made his own brackets/pegs.
