Finally got the new stand on tonight and it sits much better.  I think it could be just a bit longer, but all in all I'm pretty happy.  ECS originally jacked up my rear 3/4" and the front 5/8" when they set up my suspension and did my forks, and I've had a piece of delrin tapped into my iron side stand for the last year or so.  The only minor issue with the S2R sidestand on a 695 is that it hits and rests on the shift linkage when retracted.  A little welded nub will take care of that though.

Anyone who has a 695 and has raised their ride height would be well served by this mod.  +1 that the stand is aluminum and can be modified further much easier.  Looks much better IMHO as well.

I too tried an S2R stand on my bike, but it hits the low mount exhaust.   The bend angle seems to be bent the opposite of the stock steel stand.

I had Swatt lined up to make a new one, but didn't push it because of the $$$ it was going to cost.

Contact oncycles.com Customer Service 614-577-8080 ext. 111.  IIRC they are taking preorders on the 1 inch longer cyclecat sidestands.

Price wasn't 100% set, but $125 was the "range" at the time and it wasn't highest on my priority list.  I can go back to them if there are multiple people interested (they are local to me).

"Your" Swatt is Bill Swatt of Swatt MotorCycle Products?
They have a good reputation - I'm probably getting their clip ons soon.

$125 is 20 cheaper than the CycleCats. I think that 125ish would be ok.
If you could get an estimate from them and post it in a specific thread, I'm sure a few guys would bite?

They answered by mail today - sorry, just a rumour.

Yes, Bill Swatt.  His place is about 20 minutes from me.  They seem to make good stuff at fair prices.  I'll re-approach them and see if we can work something out.

Just out of curiosity before going back to them, is anyone else interested...or is it just me and stopintime?  2 vs. 5 vs. 20...it  might make a considerable difference in price and/or their interest in developing a product.

It's impossible to get an accurate estimate. Only when the product is available and the first reviews are in, will people start buying.
Maybe Swatt can call some of his dealers (MonsterParts, MotoWheels, ..?..) and get an idea from them if this is a product people have asked for.
Plenty of people raise their bikes and complain about the new lean angle. I have no idea how many "plenty" is and I have no idea if they actually will buy a new stand. This must be a familiar situation for Swatt, guessing how many they might sell. Talk to them and let's hear what they think.

BTW - I'll post a thread about this, asking for any interest. Just to have something to work with, even if that method is uncertain.

Does anybody remember the discussion on TOB about Sport 1000 kickstand being a bit longer than the regular one on Monsters...?

I remember some measuring was done, but can't remember the results...  bang head

My bike is up an inch and I'd be interested in a 1" longer stand.

Sad i want the cyclecat stand back that i bought, and had to return because it didn't fit my older bike's sidestand mount. Now i have the right kind of mount, and now no sidestand.
