So I would like to do the full termis, but just don't feel like blowing all that dough.  The 07 testastretta has limited choices for exhaust.  Leo Vince doesn't make one and I'm skeptical about putting one on without the DP ECU as I think it will run way to lean.

What is the ECU piggy back system called? I forgot and don't feel like going though old threads.  Anyone have a link to where I can purchase?

Also suggestions on what exhaust for this bike? I like the Termi Shorty but would really want to get rid of the cat. Boom tubes and The Ebox are just to loud, help me out monster gods, I need your help!

Aloha ADD,

I'm walking a similar path as I recently bought an '07 S4Rs but the previous owner had just hack-sawed the silencers off.  No ECU mods just drop the back pressure to zero.  I definitely need to do something or face the  Police.

I have  a set of 102 db Zard's L/R High-Mount silencers on order.  It takes a month to get them - I guess they build them when an order comes in.  I like the looks of the L/R set.  It leaves that sexy single-side swing arm wide open for public view.  I have a CF set comming and based on what that looks like I may swap the cheap looking plastic beer tray for a CF version.  Shorty or full size will depend on how the pipes look once installed.

The Zard's advertise "works extermely well with the stock ECU"  If that's true it'll save me $$$.$$  I hope it's true but we'll see.

My set should be in next week with the install next weekend.  If you like hit me with an Email and I'll keep you updated as the project progresses.

ADD,

I forgot to ask is the desire to ditch the cat box looks, ground clearance, horsepower or all of the above?  I read a review somewhere that said the stock silencers gave up about 9 Hp. but the cat box had no noticeable effect.

It's the weight mainly. I put the full termi on my S2R 800 when I had it and it must have saved 15 lbs.  Also I'm sick of the stock exhaust and need to hear a new tune.  I really like the look of the Leo on the 06 s2r with the twisted pipe leading to one can, but they don't (are are not going to as per Jeff at Monster Parts) make one for the S4Rt.

Any others that have a similar look to the leo?  I like the one high can look.

And does anyone know the name of that ecu add on, something like Modduc i think?  Its supposed to just plug right in and make the bike run a little richer as these things are lean out of the factory.

Not an S4RS, but i have the Zard 2-2 system on my S2R800.
Have made zero ecu changes / trim adjustments. It's running great. No popping on decel, no backfiring, no nothing bad... Just pure, clean, loud, desmo goodness.  waytogo

I have an Akrapovic Evolution System in the mail on it's way! Never heard one or too much published  on it, so I have self-proclaimed me the guinnea pig of the forum on this issue. Will keep you posted, should be installed by the end of this week.
