How to raise idle? and what size/brand of tires work well.

I just got a 97 M900 and it seems to idle to low until it warms up. it still seems low to me when warm its about 1K rpms. when cold it will die easily unless you choke it. I dont mind and understand carbed bikes are somtimes cold natured but i would prefer it idle just a bit higher, maybe about 1200-1500 rpm. How do you adjust this. I look all over the carbs and airbiox but cant find and adjustment screw. am I just stupid?

also wanted to know what tires fit best and work well for normal street and maybe an ocassional track day. front is fine w/120 but rear maybe a 180-55? or is it best to stick with 170. i read that alot of guys run the pilot roads with good results.

on the tires.......depends alot on what kind of street riding you are doing. slab? twisties? how aggressive are you?

and stick with the 170, likely the rim is not wide enough for a 180 and it will throw the handling outta whack.
