Guys, I had just bought some Rizoma bar ends.
I took off my old bar end mirrors but I cant seem to get out the old inserts that I put in place when I installed the mirrors!  Any ideas of what I could do?
I have tried a flat head screw driver and  prying it out.
Tried  threading the bolt in a bit and whacking it out....no go.....

Thanks for the link.
I just went back out to the garage and threaded the old bolt back into the bar end and started giving it a few good heavy whacks  While I had a pair of channel locks on the end.
I just needed to stop being a sissy and need to put some weight behind it.

Ohhhh I misunderstood.

I had the same issue. My solution was to take a short piece of 2x4 and drill a hole in the center. Then I put the old bolt through the hole and threaded it in a bit. Then slide the board up and hit the head of the bolt, it should come right out.
