3D has come to the point of absurdly amazing!

Effects in Monsters v. Aliens were incredible, and this (as expected from PIXAR) is supposed to be even better.

Really looking forward to it!
It's all in the grind, Sizemore. Can't be too fine, can't be too coarse. This, my friend, is a science. I mean you're looking at the guy that believed all the commercials. You know, about the "be all you can be." I made coffee through Desert Storm. I made coffee through Panama while everyone else got to fight, got to be a Ranger.

I saw Coraline in 3D and it made me nauseous all though it did look amazing.

The UP 3D trailer looked pretty good but not any better than Coraline.

I think I am going to catch UP in 2D =)

Coraline was a bit different. It was stop motion, not CGI....

Pixar makes movies that hold children's attention but they usually have jokes that only adults get.

Pixar story's all always very Rich in plotline and character development.

I would not consider it a childs movie but doesn't matter to me. I am a big kid at heart =)

Yeah Coraline was Stop Motion Animation for the most part but the UP trailer in CG also bothered my eyes.

The Spirits within or Advent Children?

I didn't think either of those were in 3D

Oops. Brain farted and when I saw 3D I read CG.  [roll]  ;D

Last movie I saw with 3D was Meet the Robinsons. That wasn't so 3D. I was disappointed and appalled at the price hike when I bought my ticket. Also got me on my comment too. I orignaly meant Spirits Within but I have seen Advent Children and animation-wise it's much better and there's nothing that compares. I still want Blizzard to make a CG movie. OK, I won't threadjack anymore.

THANK YOU! Finally someone else that appreciated it! So many people expected it to be like the game and then hated it when it wasn't. I loved that movie! Wasn't Aki Ross the first CGI character to make Maxim?  :P Don't answer that, we shouldn't threadjack.  ;D

I liked Spirits within.

I actually saw it at a Midnight showing and there were prob less than 10 people in the theater.

Since they could not capture the facial expressions all that well at the time I thought the motion capture seemed a bit odd but overall I did like the movie and I bought the DVD.

i have had guys reach back and grab my crotch in an attempt to get around me. i'll either blow in their ear or ask them politely to let go of my wang.

I liked Spirits Within. The disapointment for me was that the movie was animated (ie people were doing things the Olde World way, and literally manually correcting errors). Pixar (and Dreamworks) both GENERATE imagery - they construct algorithms which model real world physics etc.

Aki Ross' hair looked great, but never moved.
In 'the incredibles', Pixar was able to realistically model water, hair, and hair in water. Genius.
