Ok its not a monster but this is a standard ducati thing anyways.  Im curious how many miles i can take the 1098 over the 600 mile mark before servicing?  Its just under 100 right now however sunday should be a big ride around 500-600 miles.  This should bring me to a good spot hopefully  Just want to break it in properly any input is welcome.

1~2 hundred over isn't a big deal.  Check your manual for the 1098; on the S4RS, the 600 miles was basically and oil and filter change plus checking of all the bolts, fluids, etc... to make sure it was assembled properly.

Yeah thats what it says it is, course typical dealer tried telling me its 400$ and a 3hour service, i got the 1st one free so i dont care if they want to do all that extra stuff on their dime laughingdp.  DNA States the first 1098 service as $144 before taxes and should only take an hour.

by the way as usual i love the DMF i posted the same question on the 1098 forums an hour ago and i still haven't got a single reply
