98 M750 gas leak thru overflow hose ???

New here. I had seen a lot of threads about the gas leak and once saw a thread (I thought it was from here) with a lot of good pictures showing each step on how to remove ring, etc. I could not find it again so I decided to open up the gas tank. Mine had no ring and it looked completely different from the pictures I remember. Once I remove the cap, I saw nothing but metal portion of the tank. No overflow rubber hose or anything.

I guess one hose is for overflow and the other is for the breather (coming right side of the motor), from what I have read online.

Need some help please.

Does it leak from the hose all the time, or just after the tank is filled?
