What is this lower triple to? I thought it was to a 1098 but I guess it's not..... any ideas?

Monster, up to about 2007 (Previous generation)

That is not a Monster triple. A Monster triple would have the mounting location for the headlight U bracket.

That triple could also be a 748/749/848 with non-adj. steering head. Need more info.

They are not Monster forks. Monster forks would have the mounting location for the headlight U bracket.

Measure the offset. Superbikes' offset will be 36mm

There is a part number stamped ib the bottom, that would be easiest.
