Just found out the termi kit is $3,000. I saw an arrow exhaust on the motvation site for $1,200 and assumed they were the same.
So the next question is what the cheapest way to:
A. Get cool sound.
B. Get ride of the Catalytic converter.
I'd like to do A & B, but could probably settle for A.

If you just do the slip-ons, you don't need an ECU. If you get the full system to get rid of the udder, that one comes with the ECU I believe.

I'm glad your bike is back to normal.
The Termi exhaust comes with the high flow air filter, the new remapped ECU, and of course the slipons (or full system if you go that way). It's pretty turn-key.
The Termi system and it's supplied ECU eliminate the O2 sensor on the stock exhaust and converts the fuel inj system from a closed loop system to an open loop, straight out mapped fuel curve, mapped at the factory to match the engine and airbox parameters. It doesn't need any tweaking other than resetting the throttle position sensors. It really makes the bike run smoother at low revs because it cures the EPA mandated lean running condition at low rpm/throttle openings. Hope to see you soon!
Cheers,

I have found them friendly and helpful. I have only used the service department. Brett
