Just rode on the highway for the first time today. My HJC Type-O is noisy as hell!
how'd you like the hwy? are you wearing ear plugs? if not, they help reduce noise a lot

Super slab = teh suck. The wind is annoying. I most definitely prefer 70 on a nice curvy country road over 70 in a straight line out in the open with trucks up my ass.
I was only commuting between exits so I didn't bother with my earplugs. Last Sunday when Tony and I did 80 or so miles I wore them though, and it was quite delightful. They will be standard issue for longer rides from now on. I need to get some Hearos or something though; the ones I have aren't very comfortable under my helmet.

Where is a good place to find these? and what is a reasonable price for them?

Gerbing heated gear
, you can order online from them. Here is the
liner
.
I got my textiles from a local shop that stocks a lot of women's gear (Scuderia in SF), perhaps someone near you can make a good suggestion.
Online, some of the best deals are at
newenough
.
Webbikeworld
has great gear reviews but they don't particularly discuss women's gear, many things they list won't come in sizes for us.
We have a thread on gear that fits
here

When yer local motorcycle show comes through town-the $50 set of custom plugs you can get are completely worth it.

I have the Shoei X-Eleven, and I love it, I have finally gotten it set for my head, and it's time to play, and see what more I can get in it.
Check out myspace.com, my sn there is mnmoosenh2, and if you go into my pics, my tard self put the pics under the album "Bike Realted" Because I was either half drunk, or just not paying attention.
You'll see the helmet there, I had it airbrushed, but it still looks good. It's in the Track Pics.
