What lights should be on

Can someone confirm that on a S2R1K, when key is on that the headlight and taillight should come on and that the front and rear blinker lights do not light unless indicating a turn.

On all US monsters, that don't have Euro switch gear mods - Your headlight and running tail light should be on when the key is on.  Signals should not be - unless you've thumbed that switch.  IF the key is in 'park' the 5w bulb in the headlight bucket should be on, and the running light.
