I'm in the market for a seat cowl that will fit an '07 695. The dealer had told me that the 695's were not sold with seat cowls but that a seay cowl from an '07 800 may fit.

I figured you guys would know best, what seat cowls will fit a 2007 695?  Seat cowl part numbers and year/bike would be great.

Thanks in advance.

Basically any seat cowl from at least 2000, if not even before, will fit.  It's quite a generic piece.  The parts are all the same, just given different numbers for the different paint schema.

It will fit.  Seat cowls on Monsters remained the same until the 696.

AFAIK all the cowls from when they changed the tank cutouts will fit...

and I believe yuu is correct about Y2K.

the 00+ seats are thicker at the back, so 00+ cowls will fit on the earlier bikes, but not the other way around.

(I have one of those alum cowls on my 01 Wink )
