So I've managed to slice the oem rubber brake hose that runs from the resivior to the clutch m/c. I went to my local schmucks and they didn't have anything that would withstand against brake fluid. So I rolled over to the nearest napa, and they gave me rubber hose that could withstand 350 pounds of pressure, but could not be used for what I was looking for. Why and how has this been blown way out of proportion. All I need is some 1/4 rubber tubing that can withstand brake fluid. Anybody have any suggestions?

I'd check with motowheels or ca-cycleworks.

If they can't help yoyodyne has it.

Clear EPDM or PTFE (the stuff you need for brake fluid) hose also comes in brake bleeder kits.

True, but IIRC the speedbleeder kits have 1/4" or 3/16t" hose, much to small for the res. line.  Pressure isn't an issue, any GOOD hardware store should have PTFE hose in a variety of sizes.
