Clutch wont turn ????

I just installled a new DP pressure plate , and it wont turn. i started the bike couple of times and ran fine, then the third time it wouldnt turn ... Not sure why . So i took the plate off and reinstalled , still wouldnt turn, so i turned a bit by hand , and then it started again . NOW its doing it all over again .... Im not sure why ? Any help wud be great .

And no matter what gear i put it in, the wheell spins freely ... the neutral light turns off, which tells me im not in neutral, but yet the wheel spins .... Any ideas ?

Which year and model of Monster?

Stock clutch other than the pressure plate?

So it's not engaging? Perhaps the push rod is grooved and is catching on something? Maybe the clutch hub nut came loose.

are the notches lined up?

06 S2R 1000 .... Stock clutch, only pressure is after market ... push rod seems fine and notches are lined up ....

I had to charge my battery, it seemed low after all the attempts to start it . I just got home after couple of hours and it started right up .... im hoping that was the problem really . Its not fully charged yet, so fingers crossed
