I'm a little confused..you're having issues removing the belts?? I have never worked on a DS motor so i'm out of my comfort zone here but why cant you just CUT the belts off?

yotogi

Sure you could try to cut them off, but if you want to run the motor, you have to put new ones on. But I hear that slippery or oiled parchment-like material is the correct tool for the job...

As long as you don't get any oil on the belts...

I dont know how to cut them back on.   ;)

airborne. you still need to find away to apply enough torque to break the the nut...and then youll realize you need to keep the pully from spinning too.
