Was wondering why the news vans were parked out front when I left today.  This makes two credit union robberies and one other instance of carjacking in just over a year.  I've been at this location for about 9 years and the crime was nonexistant this far down Rankin until the low income subdivision at Rankin and Hardy was finished two years ago.  You'd think the HPD academy being across the street would be a bit of a deterent, but either criminals is stupid or they just think our guard is down.

A little of both I'm afraid. Keep your eyes open around there and good luck.
