I keep seeing myself in store windows and/or reflection on car doors, must be because I moved out of Reston to Chantilly. I have seen one or two ducs at Bikes and Breakfast and of course when I go out to DucPond. Since I got the Fiat I don't commute that often on one of the bikes. I do meet up with some other duc owners once in awhile but traffic has gotten so bad we don't do that very often either.

Two spottings on Sunday:

~2:35 PM Black (or "Dark") tank/black frame Monster in Poolesville, southbound on Elgin (MD 109) turning left onto White's Ferry Rd (MD 107) at the gas station.

~3:30 PM southbound on I-395 before Glebe Road, black/dark 848/1098/1198

It was a nice day for a ride, mid-50s but with the sun felt warmer.  [thumbsup]

That was actually me on my 1200s and my buddy on his sc1000.  It was nice earlier but it got so windy by then. That's why I decided to book it home.

I thought I saw tank intakes which is why I thought it was an 1100. I suppose it was hard to see details at - ahem - speed. The weather and wind were crazy. There was a 20 degree temp drop from when I left home to when I returned and a couple gusts spooked me pretty badly.

Funny enough, your friend and I appear to live in the same area. We both exited 395 at Seminary Road. I went east and he went west.

May have been my tech spec pads maybe?  But yeah, the leaves were blowing all over the freaking place so it was hard to see.  Yeah, my friend does live off Seminary.  I'm waiting for the next nice day before I go riding again as I've gotten less inclined to endure the harsh weather as I'm getting older lol.  We usually go riding with a pack of ducs.  Let me know if you ever want to go riding.  [beer]

Most of my riding is done with a couple of friends on oil-head BMWs, so riding with other Ducs would certainly improve the company I keep.  [thumbsup]

I saw a Monster for the first time in a while. It was around noon on Sunday, on Dickerson Road in front of the Dickerson Post Office/gas station. A red 999 was in the lead, followed by a Monster. The 999 kept my eye, so I didn't get a good look at the Monster other than to note it had a black tank.

It was likely me and my buddy. He owns the 999 with tons of Feracci parts. Beautiful bike he has.

It has been over seven months since anyone posted on this board, but dammit, I saw a Monster yesterday evening so I'm posting. It was on Washington Boulevard, heading into Clarendon. It was a 696/796/1100 generation Monster, white tank, red frame.

The era of the Monster may sadly be drawing to a close....  :'(

One more spotting, this one was on River Road around 2:30 PM Sunday. A red on red 696/796/1100 era Monster. I was on my red Multistrada 1200. About ten minutes later I saw a white Hypermotard on Falls Road crossing River Road.
