Did my fuel tank.....grow?

Getting my bike back to riding condition after various mods, delays, etc.


Anyway, I go to button down my tank....the latch/catch will no longer fit down behind the lock cylinder/key.  I didn't remove the rear mount where the tank pivots, and I havn't taken off the lockset either.....

What gives?

make the beast with two backs, I just found the 15 page thread on it.  I thought perhaps I had huffed too many fumes and done something we-todd-ed.  Nope, that shit did grow.

get on the sign up list.  you need to take your bike to a dealer and get it looked at, file a report with NHTSA.
