She farted and had a heart attack!

So today was the first time my 696 back fired while the choke was off and the temp was at three bars....!!!!

I was pulling into my spot at work (below 5 mph) and she backfired and the ENGINE TURNED OFF!!

Why would she do that? Is this a situation in which to be concerned?
