After the winter lay up, with STABIL in the tank (full), I tried to start the bike. It starts fine with choke on. After warm-up, and urning the choke down, it stalls trying to idle. It runs fine with no choke at high revs. As a matter of fact, it's running great at highway speed.

The local shop said to put some fuel injector cleaner and run it like hell for two tanks. Done that, and still no progress.

It just won't idle. As long as the revs are up, it runs fine. Very annoying if you are at a stop light or slowing down.  ???

What next? Thanks for your suggestions!  [beer]

I'd suggest pulling the float bowls and cleaning the low speed/pilot jets.

It's hind of a chore because you have to remove the air box to do it.

Thanks for the recommendation. Slight problem: I am a novice, and may be in need of assistance to get this done. Is there a DYI thread I can follow? Thanks!

Yes, but it's on the old forum  [roll]

It goes through step by step what it takes to get into your carburetors.
