Ohlins TTX shocks for M1100
«

As part of our new Monster 1100 , Rever Corsa worked together with Ohlins USA to design a new TTX36 shock to fit the rear suspension of the Ducati M1100 and M1100S models. The TTX rear shock was chosen for this model because of Ohlins amazing development of the shocks performance over the older TT44. Far and away better than the Ohlins model that comes standard on the M1100S, this makes it the best rear shock available for the new Monster. This unique partnership gives us access to some of Ohlins trickest racing gear.

We are also able to have these anodized in different colors, take a look at our black Ohlins:

Hey guys, are you going to do any front suspension work for us 696/1100 guys? At least get something going from Ohlins? We currently have no off the shelf options.

On our M1100 we simply anodized the bottoms of the existing Ohlins forks that come stock on the M1100S. We can probably just get Ohlins to set-up some FGRT forks for the front suspension, which would be better than what comes on the S model.
Send me an email and we'll speak with Ohlins to get something made.

"Unfortunately due to the size constraints of this shock it can only be used with the Termignoni exhaust system. It may also fit other exhaust kits, but it doesn’t work with the stock cans"
Does this mean that it will fit with Termi slip-on cans or does it only fit with the full Termi exhaust system? Cheers....

F'n awesome. This is what the 1100s should have shipped with. I wonder how much I could sell the stock Ohlins shock for if I picked this thing up.

Well for reference, a brand new "aftermarket" Ohlins rear shock made for the 696/1100 is around $700 give or take. The Ducati Performance branded Ohlins rear shock is $$$$$ but is the same thing.
I bought my 1100S take off from Rever Corsa for MUCH MUCH less.

Uh.....the DU-37....same as the stock 1100S Ohlins.....goes for $579, new, all day long (and that's set up for you) Ducati wants $1300 for the same unit
Too bad this one can't fit with the standard 696 or 1100 plumbing, would have with a remote.
Can't wait for a bolt on fork option, whoever offers it first WILL make some $$ (hint, hint)

Hey now, don't shoot the messenger. I'm going off the
listed
price by Kyle when it was first released.
The price was posted on another forum. IIRC you had to call them for the best price. [moto]
Edit to add: Found the listing.

Yes, unfortunately the shock won’t fit with the stock exhaust and you need a full system to be able to clear the reservoir.
Another advantage of this shock is it can also be ordered to suit your weight, and since each is special ordered from Ohlins they can put whatever spring rating we want on it.
The front forks are a much bigger problem, we ended up simply anodizing the stock S model Ohlins on our M1100. Ohlins is not making any more fork kits for the Ducati Monster, not even the FG 845. I think Ohlins is just phasing out all axial mount systems and for radial mount they’re focusing on 108mm. Monsters just didn’t get considered when making the new FGRT forks, which are far superior to their old Road and Track forks.
A kit is certainly possible and may not be too difficult, but you would need a new triple clamp, plus custom spacers and maybe new rotors (possibly even a custom made triple clamp like you would use for FG900 forks). Which puts you at four to five thousand dollars at the cheapest, I think that’s a bit hard to swallow for most people. Maybe I’m wrong though and would love to hear what other people think.
