Could always call him Bobby- thats close to Boobies.
While the name Ezra is cool- I did some light reading on it and its associations with religion. We are not religious people, and not Jewish, so that might create too much confusion..

Michael - jewish name (mi cha el -- who is like God?)
Abigail - jewish name (avi chayil -- my father's joy?)
Aliyah - jewish name (aliyah -- "to ascend")
Evan -- jewish name (evan -- stone)
Naomi -- jewish name (naomi - pleasantness)
and my favorite:

Moesha -- comes from "Moishe" which is yiddish for "Moses"

"Yelling out of cars, turning your speakers out the window to blast your music onto the street, setting off M-80 firecrackers, firing automatic weapons into the airâ€"these are all well and good. But none of them create a merry atmosphere of insouciance and bonhomie quite like a revving motorcycle.

Ezra was a stand up take charge kind of guy. He worked under King Artaxerxes of Babylon to rebuild the temple in Jerusalem. At that time Israel was one of the jurisdictional districts of the Babylonian empire. Anyway the King entrusted him with the equivalent  of about $45 mil to do has he saw best.  [thumbsup] So they got the thing rebuilt after it had been burnt down.

Therefore you should name the Kid Ezra Arson.
