I'm not a fan of the base model upon which this "custom" was based.  Then, I don't think the cool belt pulley covers really go with the retro intent of this model, especially the RED ones.  The whole thing comes of as lame to me; no offense to any who like it is meant here.

Nice bike. . .

but it does not make me want to take off my pants and throw them into a tree

The last "custom" Ducati I saw up close and personal from B.H. Ducati had pod air filters squished and mangled all to hell. Seemed to me nobody had any forethought about clearance, and just jammed them in there anyway.  :P  I got pics around here somewhere...

As for this bike..  [roll]  Doesn't seem to flow.  I usually like the SC bikes, but not this one.

I find it disturbing that you're imagining me in a sauna, never mind the teletubbie aspect of it

thus begging the question...
what does make you do this pants in tree thing?
If you drive the nicest car in the neighborhood, work in a cash business, and don't pay taxes, you're either a preacher or a drug dealer...

You bring the car, I'll bring the pants.

BTW, any brakes will fit, you just need to change rotor offset and remake the mounting plates off the 99 or 2000 996 forks.

If you have to ask, brother, you don't wanna know.  ;)
