Hello all!

Bruce (our newest member applause) has opened up a ride to Bishop’s Castle for the SoCo Dog’s to join up with.  If you’re interested in attending, please post on the DMF link here so that he knows how many will be there!  Should be a fun ride!   [moto]

From Bruce:
Let me just throw this out to you and the rest of the club.  A group of us at work, Siemens Water, have organized a ride on 22 Aug. to Bishop's Castle down near Rye.  Seems there is a lot of interest here (at work) and it should be well attended.  I asked the organizer if others from outside the company would be welcome and he said sure, the more the merrier, safety in numbers.  Although many here ride the 'other' two cylinder brand, it should be a good time.

The schedule, is to meet at Siemens, 725 Wooten Rd, around 8 AM with departure at 8:30.  Planned route is south on 115 to Florence, pick up 67 south to 96 west to 165 south to Bishop's castle.  Lunch location to be decided on later.  Return route TBD.

Perhaps we Ducati riders could devise a fun route back.

See the attached link for location of starting point.

Let's see what happens.

I rode out east by Calhan to babysit for my granddaughters all day.  My son (Briton, not Scottish) said he spotted a lady on a red Monster on the way home.  She was wearing chaps and jeans and cowboy boots.  Anyone we know?  That would be an interesting look.   cheeky

Ride was a success.  Nine bikes, well, 1 Ducati and 8 others.  Gorgeous weather, great roads, good food.
