This will be fun.  Anyone is welcome to tag along for any or all of it:
A run out of the east valley to an out-n-back to Salt River Canyon (like a mini Grand Canyon, but instead of dirt hiking trails, it's a wide and smooth ribbon of pavement you can carve up on your bike....bow down).

Meet at Coffee Rush in Gilbert, SE corner of Gilbert Rd. & Baseline, just south of the 60:

coffee  Meet at 7:00 am, kickstands up at 7:30 am to get gas (There's a Quik trip down the street) and head out through Superior to Globe:

We'll gas up, and head out to SRC for some scenery and runs in the canyon.  Then back to Globe for brunch.  popcorn  bacon

Entire loop:

~250 miles round trip (+/- laps in the canyon Wink

Post up if you can make it so we know to wait for you!  See ya Sunday!

Anyone else?  I've got a couple email confirmations as well.  Breakfast just isn't the same without at least half a dozen witnesses to see Pennyrobber put away a plate of biscuits and gravy.  bacon

Damn fun ride. I always love a jaunt on a twisty road all hopped up on espresso.

Was an amazing day.  Smooth sailing (still air) and GREAT temps at 8am out to Globe/SRC was most excellent.  We changed the loop up a bit on the way home and went past Roosevelt Lake.  Again, very scenic, but definitely a hot day back in the valley late afternoon.  Total ride was about 300 miles, I'll post a couple pics tonight.

Good pics, looks like a sweet spot to hang out.
A helluva lot better than my Sunday sitting on a plane for 15hrs. Looking forward to getting back and riding some with you guy's but I'm still stuck out here in Taiwan till Wednesday, then as punishment for being away on her B'day the other half if making me go to Bisbee the following weekend, so no riding for almost 3 weeks Sad
So will need to catch up with you guy's on some Tuesday night. chug

I'm curious if the brake lever/master cylinder ever get sorted out?
