I stopped by HDP today and browsed through all the current Ducati Models.

I felt much shorter than normal today... Yeah I am vertically challenged. I am 5-4 with maybe a 28 inch inseam.
I could barely Tippy Toe most of the bikes.

The whole reason I even got into Ducati was that they made bikes that actually Fit me. I am not really interested in the new Monster line and those are the only bikes my feet touch the ground with  Huh?

Staying with Ducati may not be in my future  Undecided

Sit on a Streetfighter. I have a 30" inseam and it fit me quite well. I don't mind tiptoeing a bit, but the SF had my heels on the ground.

And remember: (1) you can usually lower a bike. and (2) Once the suspension breaks in the bike sits a little lower.

Did you have your tall boots on?

I'm about the same height/inseam as you, that's good to know.

Um....so if you don't mind wearing a woman's boot (who's gonna know, right?  It's not like it comes in bright pink...unfortunately) but there *is* a platform-ish riding boot out there.  I'm closer to a 30" inseam and the bike was a tad tall for me when I sat on Michael Moore's.  Haven't tried one in the showroom, but I'm assuming it's about the same.

On the SF, you can buy an aftermarket lowering linkage and drop the forks. It's higher up than my monster, but with a 30" inseam the stock SF is OK for me.

I like the platform shoes idea better.  Maybe he can get a purple one-piece suit and put a big, greasy feather in his helmet, too.   Grin

I had my Daytona M Stars on so I was about a inch taller but these boots are beat to hell and the sole is almost worn through so I imagine they are about normal height now  Wink

I can go the high heal drag queen route I suppose. Hell I do live in the Bay Area  Tongue

Did you try to seat on other S.F. there ? I only ask because I am 5’5” and  the S.F. that I have sat on seem not too tall for me. I tip toe but comfortably. Maybe the one you sat on was some how taller..!!
