Re: Suspension - it was set to soft since I'm a larger mammal, which typically means that it would sink in the rear rather than wheelie, or so my experience with the Monster has been. (Put correct springs on and set sag, and the energy is no longer wasted in over-loading the rear suspension - i squirt forward {and sometimes upwards} a lot better faster now)
Unless it's bottoming or binding.
This one is fun:

All I see is this, in mid-air, in black, and with bigger air snorkels up front:

Says you!
Just kidding of course.
I'm concerned about the new multi being ugly but as someone else mentioned, it wouldn't be a multi if it was good looking.

Yeah, impressive stuff. One of the articles I was reading about these shots was saying that this was meant to be just a publicity stunt. Why else would a random spy photog be out in the middle of nowhere?

Please.. The Hyper cannot do 6 foot jumps without serious consequences. this guy got 1 foot of air on a hard packed path. You can do that with lots of road bikes..

Except you have a radiator to break, electronics that can't get wet, etc etc etc

Was the suspension set up for you?
Nope.
This is probably most of the problem. I did however have the shock preload dialed good and tight to bring up the rear a bit...still a far shot from optimal.

There's also the change in forks, stiff frame - great for road bikes, not sure how trellis frame will do bouncing over the whoop section, and the Single Sided Swingarm...

I can't wait until Marquez gets on his level and makes Jorge trip on his tampon string.

Looks like more then one foot to me. They may have upgraded forks or something but that bike is definitely more then a foot off the ground.
