Stacked vs Unstacked insurance

I just googled and got the difference between the two but I still have an unanswered question that maybe the DMF can help with.

We have our cars with State farm and my Supermoto is with Rider and currently I have unstacked coverage.

Is it worth having stacked coverage quoted even though the bike policy is not with state farm?

Does the stacking work across more than one policy, or does it all have to be within the same one?

I thought the difference between stacked and unstacked insurance was simply a function of whether your insurance agent was a dude or a babe.

so,.......a quick search since i never heard that term before...

its basically uninsured/under insured motorist right?
I'm here for a good time, but not a long time.

Unstacked coverages protect up to the stated limits on the policy. Stacked coverage allows the uninsured and underinsured limits to be multiplied by the number of vehicles on the policy. For example, if you choose stacked coverages with two insured vehicles your $100,000/$300,000 coverage is increased to $200,000/$600,000"
