interesting that the pre-prod bikes don't have the asymmetric headlights.

Yeah, I was disappointed when I saw the production model.  The original was much better.

I like em ..... a lot.  Somehow an inline 4 from BMW seems more palatable to me.  BMW knows a thing or two about four cylinders.  Member those 1500 HP 1500 cc F1's?  If I didn't know they had already done it, I wouldn't believe it could be done.  1 HP/CC?

Just saying ...... I'm anxious to see what happens here.  I've read all the articles - very interesting.

Hell, I was lusting over a ZX10R the other day in the local shop.  $9800 for a brand new 2008?  make the beast with two backs me to tears, that's a lot of motorcycle.

I never thought I'd even consider an inline 4.

Now, an RSV4? for $21 large?  WTF?

We are in another golden age of motorcycles.  Wish I had what some refer to as "disposable" income.

A BMW test rider keeps bringing the new 1000cc sportbike up to our local bike night in Atlanta...loaded off a trailer. It's tires are typically shredded. What a great job! Super sharp. this one has assymetrical headlights.
